Rue des Nanettes was created 7 years ago in Marrakech by the french designer Nadège Arnaud. After studied in the Art schools of Marseilles, training courses at Li Edelkoort, Nelly Rodi and wardrobe mistress of cinema, she wanted to discover other horizons......... Morocco. She felt in true love at first sight for Morocco and because all here causes inspiration, mixes tradition and of modernity, of colour, scents and impressions various, she decided to created her own brand. Her collections are very personal and poetic, timeless and easy to carry, with naturally a point of imagination and humour! She use some natural material, linen, jute, raw materials as the horn used touches some to decorate and sophisticate bag or basket in palm tree, and ceramics by way of pearl or cabochon. All this realized in an artisan way with craftsmen. Rue des Nanettes is also a quite real street in Paris. It is there where Nadège lived during 5 years with friends of the unforgettable moments of joy. It is to pay homage to all these happy days that she chose to call her brand: Rue des Nanettes.
